AltonA Junior Football Club

We are the Vikings!

EST. 1918

Altona Football Club was established in 1918 in a Pier Street café by James Duke, Dick Blomberg and a number of other business people from Altona.

In 1965, the Club expanded to include Juniors, who then in 1991 transitioned to their own entity as the Altona Junior Football Club. Both clubs are still very closely aligned as one large ‘Vikings’ family, continuing to share the same Purple & Gold colours and theme song.

U9 PURPLE 💜💛These boys have shown great improvement across all areas of the game this season, making coach Damien very proud! They have become much more confident with their tackling and marking, showing stronger skills and greater determination during matches. Their kicking and handball skills have also come a long way, helping the team move the ball more effectively down the field. Most importantly, their teamwork has grown significantly, with players learning to support each other, communicate well, and work together as a team.Enjoy the holiday break and good luck for your last 4 rounds of the season! ...
