Altona Football Club was established in 1918 in a Pier Street cafรฉ by James Duke, Dick Blomberg and a number of other business people from Altona.
In 1965, the Club expanded to include Juniors, who then in 1991 transitioned to their own entity as the Altona Junior Football Club. Both clubs are still very closely aligned as one large โVikingsโ family, continuing to share the same Purple & Gold colours and theme song.

Our U12-18 girls are very fortunate to have some AFLW players attending their training this week! A perfect time to bring a friend to come down and give it a go. All existing and new players welcome! Monday at 5pm on Oval 3 ๐
What a fabulous turnout we had for night 1 of the girls preseason this week, with approximately 50 players! A wonderful mix of existing and new, from U12 to U18.![]()

The girls are training every Monday from 5-6pm this side of Christmas, on oval 3 (Civic Pde, closest to council offices). Come on down and bring a friend!
